Came across this poem while reading a few days ago. Just thought I'd share it with you guys.
Never Love Unless You Can
Never love unless you can
Bear with all the faults of man:
Men sometimes will jealous be,
Though but little cause they see;
And hang the head, as discontent,
And speak what straight they will repent.
Men that but one saint adore,
Make a show of love to more:
Beauty must be scorned in none,
Though but truly served in one:
For what is courtship, but disguise?
True hearts may have dissembling eyes.
Men, when their affairs require,
Must a while themselves retire,
Sometimes hunt, and sometimes hawk,
And not ever sit and talk.
If these and such like you can bear,
Then like, and love, and never fear!

First day of school was pretty good. I woke up early in the morning and I was on time for lesson. :D So anyway, it was a little awkward at first because I didn't know anyone there lah. But then a few of us started talking and I felt so much better. I click well with indians I think. Haha. Lunch was bleh because it was so crowded everywhere. We ended up having western food at W1 when Koufu was our initial plan.
Presentation was pretty good and I was pretty satisfied with the Faci's comments. Serves as a motivation for myself. :) But he was kinda draggy lah, and our lesson ended at 4.30pm. Met some E37Q peeps after school and it was damn hilarious watching Myzan and Sean quarrel. (Y) Super entertaining I tell you. Oh and the rain was really heavy today sia. The thunder was deafening.
Jerome and I went to hunt for formal clothes in town after that. It was torturous. My conclusion is that I look like a goon in formal wear. Tyvm.

First of all, Happy 18th birthday to Hui Yun, Zi Shan and Zi Ling!
I still think it's really coincidental that their birthday falls on the same day. (Y)
Nothing much happened during work today. I was so bored that I had the time to learn how to fold a paper panda. Look.

Eh no, actually something did happen during work. When I was cleaning the shoyu sauce plates, I heard a long bang. So I turned back, and I saw Grandpa running towards the little girl, who was already crying by then. He literally RAN over to her sia. Imagine an old Grandpa running. I later learned that the little girl was rocking her chair back and forth, thus causing her to fall. Grandpa disappeared and reappeared again some moments later with a cup of ice-cream in his hands. He handed the ice-cream to the little girl with a really sweet and benevolent smile. Wahlao that moment ah, my eyes were like watery lah. Damn loser I know. I'm just touched by what he did. Very. :) (Fyi Grandpa is a really old Japanese chef at work. Everyone calls him Ah Gong because I think it makes him sound more amiable? Haha.) I showed him this panda that I made and he said that it was (Y). :D

Peace out home dogs.

What does saying I love you mean to you? I think in today’s world, people tend to use these three words way too lightly. I mean, I know it’s important to let your loved ones know how much you appreciate them, but you don’t have to say it all the time. What’s worse is when you don’t even mean what you say. It will only make it seem like a chore and sooner or later you will find yourself feeling indifferent whenever someone utter those three words to you. To put it bluntly, it loses its novelty. I’m not saying that telling someone you love them everyday is wrong, what I mean is that you should only say it when you mean it. If you mean it, you can’t say it enough. Also, I cannot stand how some people say they’re in love with someone when they don’t even know much about him/her.
1 John 3:18 – Let us love not with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
I couldn’t agree more. Actions really do speak louder than words in my opinion. I believe that it’s the littlest things that one does that matters. I have to admit that I’m someone who is frugal with such words, because I never say it unless I really mean it. I tend to be selective who I say it to, because I know that there are consequences that you have to bear after saying it. Having said these three words to people who are unworthy made me realize that I have to be extremely careful of whom I say it to. I’ve learned my lesson and I will not let history itself. I’m not that stupid.
I’ve been thinking about this particular someone recently. And I’m actually thankful that that someone is out of my life. I can’t believe that he’s actually going around defaming me. I always know that he has a big ego, but I never imagined that he’d do something like that. But when I think of it now, I don’t feel anger, nor hatred. In fact, I’m glad that I moved on. So good-bye to you, stranger. :)
The day I say these three sacred words will be the day I’m sure I’d do anything for this person. I’m sure one day I will be able to say this to that very special someone. One day. :)

A cliche picture of the gigantic Universal Studio ball.
Had a pretty good weekend last week. Sentosa with KKB on Good Friday. Had a really filling Sake Sushi meal later that night. I wanna go to the theme park! One day okay? :) Movie outing with AC on Saturday night was (Y). We caught Ju-On and it was hilarious. Everything that happened that night was damn comical. Especially DJ, who tripped in the cinema when the movie started. Everyone in the cinema laughed sia. And he almost kissed __ when he fell. Epic. Sunday was bland but in a good way. What can you expect from work? Haha.
Anyway, I got my new phone today! Samsung Omnia Pro B7610! Even though it's bulky, the 3.5" screen and the qwerty keyboard makes up for it lah I guess. Haha. I just hope it doesn't get scratched anytime soon. Please. =/
I think I am very blessed. Really. :)

My disciple.
NIGHT. :)
