"Picnic" @ Joanne's place yesterday was awesome. Had a pretty nice time catching up with Kannan. He's still as lame as ever. (Y) The two of us met a little earlier and went to fairprice to get what we needed. We sat down at the stairs while waiting for the rest and talked for a bit. A lot in fact. Mostly laughing at a particular someone. Haha. And approximately 1.5 hours later everyone showed up. Weikian was the last to arrive so he had to get us two tubs of Ben's and Jerry's. =D

So we watched the movies that we rented earlier over at Joanne's place. The bucket list and Hachiko. Teared a little.(loser) I was so engrossed in watching the movies(especially the bucket list), while the rest got distracted by the littlest things. =/ Ate and watched some more tv.

Then at night, we went into Joanne’s room and played poker cards. Don’t know which genius decided to drink so we all drank a little except Kannan. Some turned red after that. Haha losers. Took pictures and stalked people on facebook. We left around 11.30pm I think.

Anyway, UT3 results are out. I am freaking contented that I manage to pass Maths. I literally squealed when I saw a C last night. I’ve been worrying about having to retake that module lah. No joke. However, I am a tad bit disappointed in my GPA. But oh well.

I should probably go pack my bag and prepare for the chalet later on. Hope it’ll be fun. :)

Woohoo I finally got my guitar after so long. Yay! QJ-ed and watched Nick and Norah's infinite playlist. The movie's okay lah, not as nice as I thought it'd be but still enjoyable. I am also aware that I've been spending quite a lot lately, which is bad. I bought like 2 pairs of shoes, a few shirts and signed up for this kuku membership card thingy at New Look. All in a week. I know I don't do this often, but still. The membership fees alone cost me 50 bucks lah, I don't even know why I did it. Haha stupid much. =/

For now, I need to
- jog more often since I got a new pair of Nike
- practice my guitar
- READ MORE! (my command of English is like damn jialat now)

Nok came back during the weekends for a visit. We definitely had fun catching up judging from the pictures taken. Haha. Now I have tons of kuku pictures on my facebook lah. (Y) Too bad the twins are in China and Jodi's busy with school. =/

So on Friday, we walked around Orchard and hung out at Starbucks as usual. That's like our new favourite hang out place when we have nowhere else to go lah. Shujun and I gave her a small surprise though, hope she like the impromptu surprise. =D Sat at Starbucks for a good 2.5 hours before heading off to Shujun's house. Our initial plan was to have dinner at La Mei Zi but we decided to call it off because Nok had an upset stomach ealier on and we weren't really hungry. So yah, we went over to Shujun's house to slack and browsed through pictures of our secondary school days. Good times sia, really. :)

After that I went to meet KKB and we went to Lao Pa Sat to have supper. We walked a lot that night. Like a lot. Haha. It was a good night/morning. :)

As a matter of fact, I just opened a packet and I'm munching on it now. Haha.



This was taken yesterday when we were hanging around FEP during my break time. I miss them already lah. :( Friends are probably the reason why I laugh so much. Even if it means making a fool out of myself just to make them smile. I mean, why not? Haha. Nok's already back in Thailand and she got into that university that she wanted! WOOHOO!!! I am awfully happy for her lah. (Y) At the same time, I'm happy that I get to sleep in the master bedroom in her apartment. =D

Oh yah, we went to develop the pictures that I took using the lomo camera that day. It was such a disappointment. My first roll of film was practically wasted. But it's okay, I'll keep trying until I get it. Should probably start reading the manual. Haha.

Went for the body shop make up session this morning with Rashey. It was, erm, interesting I'd say. But I think I look really funny with make up on. Haha. And thank you Louis, Dickson, JH, Sam, Doris and Warren for the wonderful time at wild wild wet. Also for the little surprise that you guys gave me. :) Irene and Jenn joined us for dinner and it was damn filling. We ordered a little to much though. I had fun even though I wasn't very vigorous and seemed a little dead the whole day. Signs of fatigue I guess. I'd better go rest now. Night.

17 was such a nice age, because I was young enough to get away with things. During my life I’ve always been sheltered from adult responsibilities, but now that I’ve officially turned 18, things are gonna change.

Now that I’m 18, I’m legally an adult. I have to be self-reliant and take responsibility in the choices that I make. To be frank, I’m not sure if I’m a fully matured person, both mentally and emotionally. So the ‘taking control of my own life’ thing kinda scares me a little. It’s not the transition of childhood to adulthood that scares me; it’s the responsibilities that I have to take I’m worried about. I just feel that I’m not ready for them – just yet. It’s like the more we are able to do, the more is expected of us. Always have, always been.

In my opinion, I’m still a kid. I still think and act like a kid. I like to do things that a normal 18 year-old girl would do. Hang out with friends, goof around and all that nonsense. What’s life without some fun, right? Whatever it is, I’ll just take it one step at a time. I definitely have a lot of growing up to do despite my age. Haha. I make myself sound SO old sia. Tsk. But it’s the truth.

Having said all these..
You are only young once, but you can be immature for a lifetime. =D HEKHEK.

Anyway, I had a very nice birthday weekend. For my 18th birthday, I received quite a number of gifts. I got a red jansport backpack which I wanted really badly from fbfg, a levi’s watch and notebook and wallet from my colleagues at work, a $120 red packet from A crew, a photo collage and towel from Huiyun, a red num wallet from my besties, a lomographic fisheye camera from Zhisheng and a dvd from kkb. Plus 4 birthday cakes and 2 birthday cards. Love the ipod card by the way. ;)

No words can express my gratitude for all of you guys. Thanks for making my 18th birthday a memorable one, really. I can proudly declare that I have the most amazing friends one can ever ask for. Thank you guys for taking the effort do come up with the surprises, appreciate it. =D
